Ginko is built on a structured framework that maps interventions across developmental stages (ages 3–20), allowing parents to receive timely, context-aware guidance.

Clinical Rigor

All content is clinician-reviewed and grounded in behavioral health principles, neurobiological development, & family systems theory—not just shaped by educational or tech experts.

Dynamic Personalization

Ginko learns from user patterns (with transparency & privacy compliance) to offer adaptive suggestions—much like a clinician responding to a family’s needs.

Neurodivergent Support

Onboarding and guidance tailored for all ages and neurotypes—including ADHD, autism, and learning disabilities.

Escalation to Care

HIPAA-compliant escalation pathways into our vetted referral network for when digital wellness concerns require clinical intervention.

"As a psychiatrist, I was constantly triaging families via text and email—'Why is my child always on their phone?' 'Why does my ADHD kid seem addicted to screens?' There was this gap between digital dilemmas and clinical care. Parents were overwhelmed."

—Dr. Raghu Appasani, Co-Founder, Ginko

Built by clinical experts

Dr. Raghu Appasani, integrative & addiction psychiatrist and clinical professor at Icahn School of Medicine and clinical instructor at UCSF, partnered with digital wellness pioneer Larissa May to create a tool that addresses digital wellness with science behind it, Ginko.

“In a world where screens shape childhood and adolescence, every family deserves support that fits their needs. Ginko does just this - blending science with personalized advice for all ages and challenges, serving as a thoughtful ally to help parents and clinicians navigate digital chaos.”

Dr. Stephanie Hartselle
Clinical Advisor
Child, Adolescent & Adult Psychiatrist

“I've seen first-hand as an addiction psychiatrist the way in which screens can contribute to poor mental health outcomes and be an addiction in and of themselves. I appreciate Ginko's preventative approach to digital wellbeing through giving parents guidance on digital dilemmas before they spiral out of control - hopefully leading to happier and healthier children and families.”
